No more TPN, No IVs and Fluff!!

Sunday night Soli's nurse took off her TPN and I am so proud to say she no longer has any IVs! This being said her Broviac is also being taken out. Well No TPN = no weighing diapers. No weighing diapers = cloth time!!! Here is my angel in her first fluff custom made for her by Nanas Bottoms!

I remember how great it felt to be done with the IV's and the weighing of diapers with my kids in the NICU. It's just another thing you can cross off of the list of things she has to do before she can come home.

I absolutely LOVE the adorable diaper. I'm actually using Nanas Bottoms on my preemie too! Aren't they great? :)

I just spent quite some time reading up on your blog. I too had a preemie daughter. My Carly was born 11/15/07 weighing 380 grams (13 ounces) and 10 inches long. She lived in the NICU before passing away from a heart defect. I know the NICU can be a rough place. But it's an experience like no other regardless of the ups and downs. I'll keep you and your sweet daughter in my prayers.

BTW....I love the micro-preemie cloth diaper!!

If you want to see the blog on my daughter you can see it at carlynicoleelliotte.blogspot.com

OH and another blog you may want to read is a little girl how is still in the NICU and is a little over 6 months old. You can read her story at

Oh yeah and one last thing, your faith is amazing! Don't let the trials of life get you down. God is greater than any of our pain or troubles. Just put your burdens at His feet!

In Christ,
Rachel

Soli is so precious. I love her tiny red fluffy bum.

I'd be honored to make her a crocheted blanket. Please e-mail me and let me know what you're looking for.

I'm new to the blog as well, and reading backwards to catch myself up. I'm a mom of a micropreemie too....born at 27 w/5 d and weighing 1 lb. 9 oz (700 grams). Now he's 4! He's still tiny, only 32 lbs, but feisty and smart!!!! He was in NICU for 78 days, and had a PDA as well but it didn't require surgery. I'll continue to follow your blog.... you can follow us too, if you want: mymiracleboys.blogspot.com . Good to "meet" you!
