Welcome. I am Danielle, Single Mom to 9 Beautiful Blessings and 2 granddaughters. My kids are 23, 15, 14, 13, 9, 8, 7, 4 and 4 and my granddaughters are 3 years and 1. We have several "differently-abled" kids and we live daily life with Autism, PDD-NOS, OCD, Bi-Polar, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Depression, Pfeiffers/Satre' chotzen Syndrome and we even have our own Micro-Preemie Miracle, Solange who was born at 23 weeks at 25 ozs (1lb 9 ). The Sweetest Gift!

As of last night Angel girl weighed 3 pounds 4 ozs! Her primary nurse Margie got her a headband and she was sooo adorable in it!

Here is her 7 week picture with her cow! She is getting sooooo big now!

As for the sweetest gift....

When I came in this morning she was back on Bubbles and was dressed!! They are going to move her in the next few days to a crib!!!!!!!!!! I can bring clothes in now for her! This is the best birthday gift I could have hoped for short of her coming home!

Meet the Zoo Crew

I am Danielle Head Zoo Keeper of the Silva Zoo Crew. I enjoy shopping and my kids and I love being spontanious (though with a large number of kids that can sometime qprove to be rather difficult).

Assistant Zoo Keeper Aka: Hunny, Tom, Toadymoss, Daddy, Husband. My hero, My soldier and my Best Friend. He makes me laugh, fight, cry and is the love of my life.

Soli - The youngest of our Zoo Crew. She was born 12/11/08 at 23 weeks gestation weighing 25 ozs was 12" long and came home after 89 days in the NICU on O2 and now an NG tube. She is our Miracle Angel.

C aka: Scooter, Brother bear is our littlest boy. He was born 2/21/08 @ 34 weeks and is the happiest baby in the world. He always has a smile and it is impossible to be sad when he is around!

CT aka: Weasel, is our 3 year old 33 weeker who was recently diagnosed PDD-NOS and OCD. He is a playful child who can run a computer better than anyone I know.

K aka: Sassy is my 33 weeker who is now 4 and taking after her monkey sister R. She is a Sassy little spitfire blond who is tough as nails but can be as sweet as candy when she wants to. She is computer Savy and a Whine-a-holic. She keeps you on your toes!

R aka: Monkey is my 35 weeker who is 5 and is as strong-willed as her mother. With a flare for doing what she wants when she wants and she will tell you how it is. No candy coating with this one!

M aka: my elephant. Mac is 9 years old and was born with Pfeiffers Syndrome @ 34 weeks. She is my child who never forgets and is always the one to "remind you" when someone else is supposed to be in trouble. She can also be the biggest help when she puts her mind to it.

A aka: Allygator is Our 10 year old. Recently diagnosed Bi-Polar we fight battles daily to win the war over Bi-polar Disorder. She is proving to be just as tough as her name and is getting better everyday. She is just like her daddy in more ways than one.

CJ is 11 and the spitfire red-headed, hot tempered, sensitive kid of the bunch. She is the second mommy here and is a pro at cloth diapering and baby care!

B is our 13 year old. B is Down Syndrome and Autistic. She is smart as all heck but trapped inside the mind of a 1.5 year old. Life is a daily struggle as we all learn together. She is non-verbal and requires constant supervision.

M is our oldest daughter. She is 20 and no longer lives in the zoo but comes back to visit often.

L aka: our little frog is our grandaughter, daughter to M. She is 3 months old and we are loving being grandparents!
