a prayer request

So far so good. Soli is doing great! She is such a fighter! My prayer request today is that we can find a company to order the breast pump we need from that will bill our insurance. If not, that we can figure out how to come up with the $1600 we need to buy it ourselves. It is a hospital pump we need for long term use.

I was thinking of maybe getting those bracelets with her name date and weight and selling them to raise the money for her pump. What do you guys think? Ok well I am holding my angel and typing on the iPhone sucks so I will update you all later.

When my son was born prematurely we were able to get the pump through the hospital lactation office and insurance paid for it. Also check if there are any pharmacy locations that specialize in nursing products.

THe social worker has been trying to help for days now. I cannot figure out why everyone makes it so difficult to get a pump. The Lactation station at the hospital here will not bill insurance. YOu have to buy them and then try to get reembursed. We have also called every medical supply Co in Sacramento to no avail. It is depressing and frustrating!

Have you spoken to the La Leche League? When my LO was in NICU after his birth, the LLL rep was able to send a hospital grade pump home on loan until he came home. The cost was a $100 deposit and $50 because I had to purchase my own kit.
